How to Mix Your Prints!

I love mixing prints and I do it in a very simple way. I decide which prints I want to wear and then I try them on together to see how they look. If I like-BOOM-all done! If I don't then it's back to the drawing board. It really is that easy. You don't have to make sure that every color matches or that there's a theme, you just have to feel good in it. PERIOD!

The looks below are perfect examples of pieces you can easily find in any thrift store to create a mixed print look. If your still not sure then play it safe by staying within the same color family like the pic directly below or choosing a theme like animal prints (last pic), that always works. Let me know what you thing in the comments. Have an amazing weekend!

ReStyling my Jewels

I revamp thrifted, vintage and broken jewels all the time because I am also a jewelry designer. I love bringing new life and energy to these pieces and I promise I will begin to document this process in a more formal way.
These big, pink plastic beads had to go so I replaced them with genuine gemstones, crystals, wood, and glass beads.

I like my earrings to dangle, I rarely wear small earrings so I made these longer by adding gemstones and Swarovski crystals.

I am so excited to finally share with you how gratifying, stylish and just plain FUN thrift shopping and styling can be. The main focus of this blog is to show how you can live a sustainable lifestyle without sacrificing style and quality. We will also be talking about cleansing and organizing your closet and creative space because sis, once you declutter your stuff-you will uncover your life!
I love all things vintage so that will definitely be a topic here as well. From energetic and fun videos about thrifting and styling to talking about momming, food, hair, makeup and travel-it's going down over here!!! The New Neutrals: Blush and Olive Green

I have always loved these two colors but I can't remember ever wearing them together. As of late, it has become quite trendy to wear all neutrals or blush tones together and I was inspired by one of my fav bloggers, Rochelle from Beauticurve, to combine these two colors together. I love how simple her look is but stunning at the same time so I recreated the look with the same colors but a completely different outcome. Blush and olive have definitely become part of the neutral clan and I plan on purchasing more pieces in these colors. I hope you like!
